The multi-campus Indigenous Student Emergency Fund provides emergency bursary support to Indigenous students facing unforeseen financial crisis, and is a vital part of the circle-of-care support provided by the Indigenous Student Services team at Laurier.

Your donation to this fund will help Indigenous students overcome unexpected financial emergencies including loss of housing, food insecurity, health expenses and more. As of 2023, this fund has been centralized to be available to any Indigenous Laurier student in financial crisis, no matter where they’re studying from.

Watch the above short video from Indigenous Student Services Manager Zeeta Lazore Cayuga on the impact of this fund.
